Pittsfield Vermont Snowshoe Marathon, Half Marathon and 6 Mile
March 8, 2008 Start: 8 a.m.
Pittsfield, Vermont

What:
Snowshoe Marathon (7,200 feet of elevation change), Half Marathon, and 6 miler. Ten hour time limit.

Location:
Riverside Farm, 57 Tweed River Drive, Second Driveway on your left. Look for the white barn and then follow the signs to the start/finish. We'll have a bonfire going early Saturday morning.

Course:
* 6.55 mile loops. Trail (un-groomed) and snowmobile trails. Course will be marked with ribbons and signs. Marathon - 4 loops. Half Marathon - 2 loops.
* There's also a great one loop FUN RUN that's perfect for anyone wanting to try out snowshoing!

Prize Money:
$1200 for the marathon only. The award money will be distributed to the top three men and women - $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for third place.
